What is Chiropractic

Chiropractic removes painful and non-painful blockages that rob us of energy. Gentle impulses restore joint mobility and relieve nerves, muscles can relax, and pain is reduced.

The difference between chiropractic and osteopathy

Osteopathy and chiropractic have various similarities and differences. Both focus on the musculoskeletal system and aim to relieve pain and improve overall health. Their differences lie in their philosophies of the origin of the cause. In osteopathy, the cause is believed to lie in the fascia or organs, where chiropractic sees the problem from misalignments of the spine.

How does stress affect the alignment in the spine

When we are under stress, the body switches to fight or flight. The muscles tense up in anticipation of danger. If this danger does not materialise, the body returns to a relaxed state. If the stress is chronic, trigger points can form in the muscles, which disrupt the balance of tension in the spine. Misalignments or blockages are the result.

After an injury or operation, the body can adopt a relaxed posture, which can lead to blockages in the spine. To help you get back on your feet quickly and effectively, we use the SFMA to analyse whether the problem is muscular or a misalignment in the joint. In the case of blockages, a chiropractic adjustment is carried out and the correct training strategy is then developed to increase the success of the treatment.

Chiro-Dry Needling-combo

A chiropractic adjustment can provide quick relief if you suddenly feel a pulling pain, such as a pull in your neck or back, when you lift too much. After the adjustment, the blockage is gone, but the tight muscles remain. With dry needling, the acupuncture needles provide better blood flow to the trigger points and tight muscles, allowing them to relax more quickly. You become pain-free and more flexible faster.
